Our local couples...

  • Amber & David

David and I first met five years ago in Roanoke. While searching for the perfect ring, we explored many options before a friend recommended Saslow’s and Henbry’s.

There, we worked with Brian, who was incredible. He took the time to ensure the custom design was exactly what I envisioned. To make it even more special, we discovered that this was where my dad had purchased my mom’s ring, making it feel truly meant to be.

The ring exceeded all my expectations! David proposed to me in Daytona, Florida, the destination of our first trip together. We couldn’t be more excited to spend the rest of our lives together!

  • Daina & Greg

I was working part-time at the Henebrey’s store in Danville, Va. Greg came in the store to check if a ring he had was real. The associate that was helping him knew him and told him I was single. Four days later he called the store and got my phone number. Almost three years later, Greg purchased a beautiful engagement ring and asked me to marry him! The rest is history!

  • Janna & Blake

We met in High School, and our love has just grown and blossomed from there. We were shopping in the mall and one of the Saslows & Henebry workers called out to us from inside the store and told us to come see some beautiful jewelry. Little did we know we would find the perfect Ring! He proposed on a wonderful family trip to the beach during family photos. We are so thankful to have each other, and we are so excited for our big day!

  • Katherine & Killian

After being together for over 4 years, buying a house together, and welcoming a beautiful baby girl into the world, we tied the knot in a small intimate ceremony at a beautiful venue in North Carolina.

  • Kristin & Darren

We met at 15½ and started dating after some flirting in study hall at Cave Spring High School. Thirty-four years later, we are still together and still deeply in love.

As a girl who experienced six divorces between my mother and father, I was determined not to become a victim of that heartbreak—but a victor over it.

Darren and I both graduated from Virginia Tech and built a beautiful life together. Today, that life includes our three children—a 21-year-old son and our 17-year-old boy/girl twins.

God became the center and focus of our lives in 2008, but we know now that He was sovereign over our relationship from the very beginning in 1992. Each year together, we somehow become more in love.

We’ve been together since high school—but make no mistake, not because we lacked other options. What made our relationship stronger was growing side by side through every stage of life—before confidence, before maturity, before life shaped us. We met fully formed, but we also watched each other become who we are today. Staying together through change is one of the hardest things a couple can do. It takes effort, patience, adaptation, grace, and understanding. We don’t just know who each other is today—we understand every version that helped build the people standing here now.

We are grateful for the legacy this creates for our children. Unlike a diamond… no amount of money can buy a commitment like this—it must be earned. Although I am very grateful Darren chose Henebry’s to help us RING in this next 25 years together.

  • Nick & Tori

Our love story started with two people who simply found their way to each other, and somehow every step since has felt meant to be. Through all of life’s little moments, our love grew stronger and led us to the day we had always dreamed of.

On our wedding day, we stood side by side, happier than ever, exchanging vows and the rings that symbolized our forever. Seeing those rings on our hands made everything feel real—a beautiful reminder of the commitment, love, and life we were beginning together.

It was a day full of joy, love, and memories we’ll cherish forever, and the perfect start to our happily ever after.

  • Sandra & Jesus

We met years ago through a mutual connection and quickly built a friendship that stayed with us through life’s ups and downs. During one of the darkest seasons of my life, Jesus was a steady presence beside me, bringing a sense of peace and comfort I never forgot.

Years later, we found our way back to each other, and the friendship we once shared became the foundation of a love built on trust, protection, and unwavering support.

Now we’re preparing to say “I do” on October 10, 2026, beginning the next chapter of a love that was quietly growing all along. 💍

  • Sterling & Lydia

We met when we were fourteen, and the summer we turned eighteen, we started spending more time together. On June 20th, we started dating. A few months later, on November 21st, we got engaged, ready for the next chapter of our lives together.
